Yuletide 2016: Dear Creator
hi, hello, dear gifter this yuletide!
let me preface this letter with an apology for getting this letter out so late.... but, it's my hope that this letter is even slightly useful to you all the same c:
anyway, i'll outline some things i really enjoy receiving, as well as things i'd prefer not to see. that said, the most important thing to me is that you're creating something you enjoy, too, so i only ask you not include any of the things i'd prefer not to see--thanks so much in advance, and i look forward to seeing what you create!
OH, and before i forget: you don't have to include both characters i requested for my fandoms if you don't want to. following this vein, feel free to add any characters unspecified if you'd like to!

things i love:
- introspection, character and/or relationship studies
- canon-verse fic! whether pre- or post-canon, canon-divergent, or kind of 'missing scenes' -type things
- playing with the idea of dreams, or time
- flowers!!!!! i love flower anything, really
- gen! i like shippy and gen equally, so whatever you wanna roll with works for me: shippy or gen or anything in between.
- ambiguous relationships; found family; friends with benefits--dynamics where some form of intimacy is involved, if not so easily expressed.
*AUs sidenote:
- AUs are super sweet!! the main thing with me about AUs is, if you do choose this path, please no: cafe/coffee shop, A/B/O, or soulmates AUs (in the sense that soulmates are ~predestined~ for each other; it's the lack of perceived choice that i'm not so hot for, i guess). other than that, feel free to go wild!
- some AU ideas: historical, 25 lives/reincarnation, heist/robbers, cyberpunk... most everything is A-OK!
things i'd rather not receive:
- pwp. nsfw is fine, i'd just rather it not be the entirety of the thing c:
- (non-canonical) character death for any of my requested fandoms. this doesn't apply to reincarnation-type things though, in which death is kinda...hard to avoid? lol
- over-westernisation, or western concepts that don't really apply if set in canon-verse, e.g.: prom in japan, or having a driver's license that isn't for a moped or motorcycle at 16. it's mostly the little things, so like, please don't stress or anything aaa
